How far before my wedding should I order my flowers?

I am finding increasingly that brides are waiting until around 4-6 weeks before their wedding to order their flowers...this is really leaving it to the last minute. Ideally you should be ordering your flowers no later than three months before the wedding date. Traditionally for some reason on ‘bride to do lists’ around the place we are told to order the flowers six weeks before the wedding however in the case of posting flowers to other parts of the country I would prefer to be getting the flowers to you many weeks before the wedding rather than just a week or days before the wedding as the bride has waited until around 6 weeks to organize their flowers. If you have an emergency and your flowers for some reason are not organized at least 3 months before your wedding date still please contact me but for those who still have this time on their side I would strongly suggest ordering with at least 3 months to spare. This gives us enough time to organize what you want, payments, ordering flowers, making the flowers and posting. Keep in mind with artificial flowers they can be ordered well in advance of the wedding and be made up and sitting in a box ready for the day, you do not have to order them right before the wedding like you would with fresh flowers.

I would love to see you so you can have a look at the flowers and see how amazing they are for real ... I do not have a shop or showroom I work from home so an appointment is essential, as you can understand.

Please call or e-mail for an appointment time, appointments can be made for most weekdays at around 10am or Saturdays at 1pm. I cannot do times at night.

Please note that appointments tend to fill fast particularly Saturdays so you may need to book a couple of weeks in advance.

NOTICE to all Valentines 09 Brides Please Read

To all the many many brides who are getting married on Saturday the 14 of February 2009 there are quite a few orders and questions coming in about this day already. There will be a huge number of brides getting married on this day all around the world and there is a couple of things to note, your local florist will be doubly busy on this day not only because it is Valentine’s Day but because it lands on a Saturday, Valentines in a florist on a Saturday will always be busier than when it lands on other days. Most florists will not accept wedding orders for this day as they simply do not have the time and manpower to do these flowers fresh for you on the day before. As you can imagine if I am already taking orders for artificial wedding flowers for this day as time goes by the orders will become more and more. If you are getting married on Valentines 09 I reccommend to have your order in with me by around November 08 at the latest. Keep in mind with artificial flowers they can be ordered and made well in advance of your wedding day you do not have to wait until right before the day to order.

I think it is important to note that all the flowers that you are viewing on my website are not real flowers, everything is 100% artificial a couple of items are dried items. I am often asked by brides from interstate how can you get the flowers to me on the wedding day and still have them fresh. The flowers look very realistic so it is easily mistaken as all the flowers looking like fresh flowers. I can guarantee you that everything you see here is not real and can be posted any where in the world. From my next suburb to Canada or Switzerland and further, it does not matter where you are if you can receive post you can receive my flowers. I post everywhere. Because the flowers are artificial you are not restricted at all. Please contact me if you have any questions at all.
